Dowling Flooring are the flooring specialists serving not just the local area of Exeter and Exmouth but further afield throughout the South West. Working within both homes and businesses, we are able to to find the right flooring to suit your needs and design concept.
Established back in 2000, we have over 35 years experience between the father and son team, we have gone from strength to strength and pride ourselves on an excellent level of personal service and exceptional standard of workmanship. When it comes to the matter of the finer details, we will not leave your home or business in a mess, even during the floor laying process. The age old saying of measure twice, cut once is adhered to as we cut and measure to the millimeter and we will ensure we have the best client communication in the trade. All these things are great, however, we like to go one step further, we will also carry out a full site test to measure damp, humidity and moisture levels in your home or business. Because different levels of moisture and humidity affect flooring materials in different ways, we offer this test, worth £75, free of charge within all our quotations and will enable us to offer you the right flooring that will last the test of time to work within your environment.
Qualifications
All Dowling Flooring operatives have gained CSCS qualifications (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) with one of our flooring technicians having also completed two credits at level two in the NOCN at Southampton City College and now specialises in health and safety.

We are qualified and experienced in laying all types of floor finishes; parquet wood strip, wood block, vinyl – non slip safety flooring, smooth vinyl, cushion flooring & linoleum, laminate, ceramics, rubber, decorative tiles plus accessories such as angles, trims, nosing & entrance systems and skirting finishes including PVC, set in, sit on, site formed cap and cove work.
